Greetings from Dean S. Todd Brown

Dean S. Todd Brown welcomes accepted students to the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Dean Welcome Accepted Students

Hello, I'm Todd Brown, dean at the University at Buffalo School of Law, SUNY's only law school.

On behalf of the faculty and staff here in O'Brian Hall, I'd like to congratulate you on your acceptance. An offer of admission signifies that you have the potential to thrive, not only in our law school, but also in the practice of law.

Over the last decade we have devoted significant energy to reimagining our academic program. Today we have an expansive and innovative curriculum taught by nationally and globally recognized faculty.

We offer a broad range of experiential opportunities. And this rigorous academic program is paired with an extensive support network, both within the law school and beyond it. Our community-centered bar support program has yielded record setting bar passage results in back-to-back years.

And our Career Services Office is dedicating to helping our graduates find the right job for them - whether it's in New York or anywhere else in the country. This explains why every recent graduate seeking full-time legal employment has found it. We are fully committed to your legal education and helping you launch your career.

I am very proud to be a part of the UB Law Community - it's a community like no other - and I'm pleased to invite you to join us. Congratulations and welcome. We hope to see you soon
