“While at UB, you have to catch a Buffalo Bills Game. The Bills are an important part of Buffalo culture and everything from the tailgating to the atmosphere in the stadium is hard to describe if you haven’t been! You will catch people all over campus wearing Bills merch on the days leading up to a game!”

“One of the highlights of my time in Buffalo has been my engagement with the Just Buffalo Literary Center. Just Buffalo, or JBLC, hosts the Babel author series at Kleinhan's Music Hall, an annual four-author series which has featured literary greats such as Toni Morrison, John Irving, and Colson Whitehead. They also have the Summer Reading Series at the Marine A grain silo, as well as local author showcases, and workshops and community writing groups at their writing center.”
