“Graylynn is a cozy gin bar that offers its spin on English pub fare. The atmosphere is always lovely, and its location downtown is close to music and arts venues including Shea's Theatre and Town Ballroom.”

“Kuni's is simply one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been to, which incudes restaurants in NYC, San Francisco and in Japan. It is small and takes no reservations, so get there early!”

"When exploring Buffalo’s West Side, don’t miss these local gems. Butter Block serves up fresh pastries that are truly amazing—my favorites are the almond croissants and homemade Pop-Tarts. For a leisurely stroll, head across the street to Five Points Bakery, where you can enjoy live jazz on weekends (weather permitting). Be sure to treat yourself to one of their specialty drinks and take home a fresh loaf of bread!"

“You can travel the world, but you won’t find anything quite like Buffalo’s unique delicacies: Beef on Weck, Sponge Candy, Texas Red Hots, Fish Frys, and, of course, Wings. Every neighborhood has its favorites, but the best, in my opinion, are Schwabl’s for roast beef, Louie’s for Texas Red Hots, Park Edge for Sponge Candy, and McPartlan’s for Fish Fry. When it comes to wings, Duff’s is my go-to—but your mileage may vary.”

“Buffalo has a lot of different coffee shops, and my favorite weekend activity is to try them all out. So far out of the ones that I've been to, Jam is the current favorite but I look forward to trying more and more. Next on my list is Penny's Coffee Shop, they have Turkish coffee!”

“As a Buffalonian, I have to tell you—Bar-Bill is hands down the best chicken wing spot in Buffalo. It’s my go-to during Bills season for a 10-piece and a spicy Bloody Mary. Their classic hot sauce is my favorite, but the Cajun honey-butter BBQ gets all the hype. Plus, they have a seasonal cocktail menu and plenty of outdoor seating in the summer. If you’re after the best wings in Buffalo, I can’t recommend Bar-Bill enough.”
