If you have applied for the New York State Bar Examination, the NYBOLE will email a copy of your Law School Certificate (also known as Certificate of Attendance) directly to our office. You do not need to bring the form to us; we will certify and submit the form automatically once we have received all outstanding grades. Our office can assist with submitting the bar forms below.

Once you have taken or passed the bar examination, you must apply to be admitted to the bar. Please visit the Admission Information the NY Board of Law Examiners provides to obtain the information on bar admission.
You will need to submit the Form Law School Certificate. We will verify the information provided and will forward the materials to the Appellate Division department indicated. Each department has dates they will accept the form; visit their Appellate Division department website for further information. Please note that as these forms require an impression of our official school seal we will send them on your behalf.
Students who began law school July 1, 2016 or later are required to verify they have completed the Skills Competency and Professional Values requirement (Pathways). This form should be submitted to our office, along with the Form Law School Certificate as both are required for admission to practice in New York State. Applicants should fill out page 1 and select Pathway 1 as satisfying the requirement. If you began law school prior to July 1, 2016 then you are NOT required to submit the Skills Competency form.
