A longtime jurist who gained national renown as the presiding judge of the country’s first Opioid Intervention Court will be the keynote speaker as the law school gathers for its 136th Commencement ceremony. Hon. Craig Hannah ’95, now associate justice of the New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department, will address graduates and their families during the ceremony, to be held May 18 at UB’s Center for the Arts on the North Campus. As the nation enters the era of a new presidential administration, the School of Law will host a lecture and discussion assessing the prior administration’s relationship with the U.S. Supreme Court from a legal historian’s perspective.
