Trial Practice CLE

This CLE will address substantive skills in all aspects of trial advocacy from presenting to a jury, opening statements, closing arguments, direct and cross examination, motion practice, and evidence.

The CLE will take place in the the Francis M. Letro Courtroom as well as via Zoom webinar. The program is free, though only intended for coaches of the School of Law trial teams.

The program will highlight effective techniques for advocating in trial, and will run drills to help practitioners hone trial skills.

This CLE will also address issues of ethics at trial and candor before the tribunal. The program will spend a significant amount of time talking about issues of bias in the profession and how to eliminate those issues.

CLE: 4.0 non-transitional NYS CLE credits: 2.0 in Skills; 1.0 in Ethics and Professionalism; and 1.0 in Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias.
