Undergraduate institution and major(s), minor(s):
UB Law (BA)

Legal Interests: Whistleblower protection, immigration, maritime law and commercial litigation

Why did you choose UB School of Law? I chose the UB School of Law because of my relationship with the professors, as well as my desire to stay in Western New York. As an undergrad I had the privilege of learning from several of the faculty members in the law school. Everyone was immensely supportive, and you could tell that they pushed for the genuine success of their student. This is not something that you see at every school. Additionally, I wanted to stay in western New York and contribute to my community, and I thought UB’s connections would most help me do that.

One piece of advice for accepted students:
 Go to office hours and take advantage of every opportunity within the law school. The professors here are fantastic, and everyone is very willing to help you. Sometimes just hearing the professor say something a second time in person can make a large difference.

One fun fact about yourself: I love being on the water. I am a certified Scuba Diver, and in the summers I love to fish and jetski.
