Undergraduate Institution and Major(s)/Minor(s):  St. John Fisher University – Dual Major in Philosophy and Legal Studies

Legal Interests: Appellate Advocacy, Criminal Law, Public Interest Law, Environmental Law, Employment and Labor Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Rights Law, and the Innocence Project.

Law School activities: Buffalo Environmental Law Society (BELS), Native Indigenous Law Student Association (NILSA), OUTLaw, American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS), Student Ambassador Program, and the UB Law Alumni Association.

Why did you choose UB School of Law?: I chose UB School of Law because of its excellent student-to-faculty ratio. Additionally, I believe UB School of Law will set me up for success in my future legal career.

One piece of advice for accepted students: Stay on top of your readings but also make sure to find time for your mental health.

One fun fact about yourself: I am a first-generation immigrant from Turkey.
