It was an afternoon of congratuations and good cheer at the New York City Alumni Luncheon as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the New York City Program in Business and Law and honored David E. Franasiak JD MBA ’78, recipient of the 2026 Edwin F. Jaeckle Award.

Students, faculty, and staff came together for our Annual BA/JD “3+3” Networking Reception. Held in Charles B. Sears Law Library, the evening brought our 3+3 pipeline students face-to-face with professors, current students, and staff—building connections, sharing experiences, and strengthening the path to law school.

We were pleased to host our spring Mitchell Lecture, featuring guest lecturer Elizabeth Anderson of the University of Michigan, who delivered a thought‑provoking talk on “The Protestant Work Ethic and the Roots of Populist Authoritarianism.”

Our 2026 Career Fair was a tremendous success, thanks to the employers who made the trip to O’Brian Hall to meet with our 225+ law students and discuss career opportunities.
