Six years of work by students in UB School of Law’s Environmental Advocacy Clinic - more than 1,450 pro bono hours invested by our student attorneys. And a total of 33 students who helped build the legal and informational foundation – all to celebrate the global significance of Western New York’s mighty Niagara River.
BPILP – which provides fellowships for UB School of Law students who take unpaid public-interest law positions in the summers – is marking 25 years of the event with a first-of-its-kind fall auction.
Five years into its highly successful run, the School of Law’s Federal Court Pro Se Assistance Program has made real strides in ensuring equal access to the justice system. Now that work is being honored with a Robert H. Jackson Award for Distinguished Service.
