“Excelsior,” meaning “ever upward,” is New York State’s official motto, and upward-looking UB School of Law seniors are now eligible for the governor’s Excelsior Service Fellowship Program, which aims to bring high-achieving new graduates into public service.
The Law School was bustling with arguments and counterarguments as two dozen second- and third-year students and nearly 50 volunteer judges took part in an annual SUNY Buffalo Law tradition: the intramural Charles S. Desmond Moot Court Competition.
Like a playful puppy that grows into a 60-pound Labrador, a School of Law project serving animal-related clients has expanded into a full-fledged clinic.
