In February 2014, the University at Buffalo School of Law and the ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project launched the Pro Se Assistance Program. Located in the Robert H. Jackson Courthouse in downtown Buffalo, the office will be staffed by law clinic students as well as local experienced federal practitioners.
A CLE training program was held on January 17 to introduce the program and educate volunteers about the kinds of pro se matters typically seen in today’s Courts. Chief Judge William M. Skretny will give remarks and talk about the vision for, and importance of, this new program.
CLE: The University at Buffalo School of Law offered a total of 2.0 non-transitional CLE credits in the area of Skills.
