Pro Bono & Access to Justice

The School of Law has a long tradition of providing pro bono services to the Western New York community and beyond. We are prepared to help students who plan to sit for the New York Bar exam to meet the state’s mandatory 50-hour pro bono admission requirement.

Our pro bono work helps low- and middle-income individuals and community organizations navigate a wide variety of the legal issues that confront them.

The School of Law does not provide direct pro bono legal services except for limited services provided through our Clinical Legal Education Program.
