As the focal point for human rights work at School of Law, the Buffalo Human Rights Center fosters coursework, research, and scholarship in human rights by providing direction and vision to the study and practice of international human rights law.
Bailey P. Hughes is a second-year law student, working towards a concentration in International Law. Her involvements on campus range from her membership as the Communications Chair for the Buffalo Public Interest Law Program to an Associate of the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review.
Outside of her schoolwork she is the Board Secretary for the Turkish Cultural Center of Rochester, and Advisory Board Member for Advocates of Silenced Turkey, and the Senior Editor for Salaam Magazine.
Thomas McKenna is a second-year student at the University at Buffalo School of Law. He is currently in the International Law Concentration and is an Associate Editor with the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review. He is also a 2L class director with the Student Bar Association.
McKenna received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Albany.
