New Doctor of Juridical Science degree

The School of Law now offers a Doctor of Juridical Science (JSD), its most advanced degree, intended for students interested in making original contributions to legal scholarship. This new degree will complement the law school’s existing programs, which include the JD — the core legal qualification — the LLM (master of laws) and a recently added undergraduate major. Hon. Hugh B. Scott ’74 to receive Edwin F. Jaeckle Award

Join us as we present the 2021 Edwin F. Jaeckle Award — the highest honor the University at Buffalo School of Law and its Law Alumni Association can bestow — to Hon. Hugh B. Scott '74. The presentation will take place via a live online broadcast on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. (EST).
