Research Focus: Health Care, Long-Term Care
Tony Szczygiel taught at the University at Buffalo School of Law from 1982 to 2014. He earned his J.D. from Boalt Hall (University of California, Berkeley, School of Law) in 1975.
Szczygiel’s teaching and research centered on health care and long-term care. He was director of the William and Mary Foster Elder Law Clinic, which he founded in 1983. He has made numerous presentations for the Erie County and New York State bar associations, as well as to other advocates and consumers.
He served as director of the School of Law’s clinical program from 2000 to 2010.
