It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend and colleague Stephanie Phillips. A beloved faculty member at our law school from 1989 to 2022, Prof. Phillips pursued intellectual interests that included African-American legal history, Critical Race Theory and—a personal passion that she grew into a wildly popular course on self-care in legal practice—mindfulness and meditation.
