The School of Law has bilateral exchange agreements with three international partner schools: University of Glasgow School of Law and ESADE Law School, and the University of New South Wales Law. When you visit either one of these institutions you are considered an international exchange student, which is governed by the formal exchange agreement with that partner school.
The Buffalo Human Rights Center Summer Human Rights Fellowships are granted annually to a select number of highly motivated law students committed to combining practical fieldwork experience and scholarly inquiry in the human rights field. Fellows are placed with a domestic or international human rights organization of their choosing to engage in human rights fieldwork over the course of a summer.
This program launched in 2012 gives law students an opportunity to spend their summers working in legal internships across the world where the New York State Bar Association has an active local chapter.
