Michael Battle '81

for United States attorneys at the Department of Justice in Washington,
D.C. Battle has been the U.S. attorney for the Western District of New York
since 2002 and was involved in the well-known "Lackawanna Six"
case. He was the first African-American to hold the post of U.S. attorney

Steven Erickson '00
received the CARES Schizophrenia Research Award from the University of Rochester
Medical Center, where he is currently chief fellow in psychiatry. Erickson
