
UB Law was the focus of international attention recently when Prime Minister Raila Odinga of the Republic of Kenya, who led a delegation of senior officials to UB,delivered the commencement keynote address and was the recipient of the first Dean's Medal presented by Dean Makau Mutua.
At the ceremony, UB President John B. Simpson conferred SUNY honorary doctorate degrees on Irene Zubaida Khan, Secretary General of Amnesty International,and J.Mason Davis Jr., a UB Law graduate and distinguished civil rights attorney from Alabama.
