Judge Farrell was cited for his outstanding contributions and dedication to the Local Courts system in the State of New York and his outstanding professional achievements as a member of the judiciary. The Eugene W. Salisbury Magistrate of the Year Award is the most prestigious designation available to a sitting Magistrate in New York State. He resides in Amherst, N.Y. Anthony J. Latona '72 was named president of the Amherst Symphony Orchestra in Amherst, N.Y. The symphony is the longest-running community orchestra in the nation.
